Open Access Policy

We are committed to the principles of open access and strives to make research articles and related materials freely and openly available to readers worldwide. We believe that open access promotes greater transparency and accessibility, encourages collaboration and innovation, and ultimately leads to greater impact and advancement in scientific knowledge.

To achieve this goal, we provide open access to all articles published in our journal. These articles are published under a CC BY SA license (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). Under Creative Commons, authors retain copyright in their articles. The CC BY SA allows for maximum dissemination and re-use of open access materials. Under this license, users are free to share (copy, distribute and transmit) and remix (adapt) the contribution including for commercial purposes, providing they attribute the contribution in the manner specified by the author or licensor.

To cover the costs associated with publication and to ensure the sustainability of our open access model, we charge article processing charges (APCs) to authors upon acceptance of their article. These charges cover the costs of copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, DOI and long-term preservation of the article.

We support authors who lack the funding to cover the APC by offering fee waivers or discounts to authors based on the merits and request by the author especially from low-income countries or institutions.
